The original Hansson Silks website was launched in February 2000 in an attempt to provide our customers with a source of information about our ranges.
In particular we hoped it would help those people unable to visit our showroom in person due to distance and were thus dependant on mail-order.

It immediately proved popular with visitors looking for fine silks and lace who were able to get a look at our products via our galleries.

The site has recently been redeveloped allowing us to add more detail and content regarding our services.

The site has also been designed to conform to the latest W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) web standards and guidelines for creating web pages - which are supported by all the latest browsers.
